Decorated Pot from North Ika
A monochrome photograph depicting a large, globular vessel with a wide, circular rim. The body of the pot features a dense pattern of closely spaced, diagonal parallel ridges. Three high-relief anthropomorphic figures in squatting or seated positions are attached to the upper exterior edge just below the rim. Two low-relief zoomorphic figures, resembling lizards, are applied to the shoulder of the vessel. Human hands are partially visible at the top of the frame, gripping the rim, and a bare human foot is visible on the right, providing a scale for the object.
