Shooting Stars Hold Plateau United, Akwa Stay Unbeaten • BrainBurst

Shooting Stars rallied to earn a share of the spoils against Plateau United in Ibadan on Sunday.

Victor Dawa gave the visitors the lead on 39 minutes.

Shooting Stars equalised through Uche Onwuasanya late in the first half.

Former champions Akwa United and Abia Warriors battled to a 1-1 draw at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo.

Abia Warriors went in front through Adejoh Ojonugwa on nine minutes.

Edidiong Enobong salvaged a point for Akwa United deep into stoppage time.

At the Muhammadu Dikko Stadium, Katsina United held Bendel Insurance to a 1-1 draw.

James Oronsaye put Katsina United in front after 17 minutes.

The lead lasted three minutes before Bello Lukman equalised for the home team.

The encounter between Kano Pillars and Bayelsa United also ended in a 1-1 draw.

Auwalu Ali gave Kano Pillars the lead four minutes before the break, while Rabiu Abdullahi equalised for Bayelsa United one minute before the hour mark.

In Minna, Niger Tornadoes battled to a 0-0 draw against Nasarawa United.
