Enyimba took an early lead at their fortress in Aba, with Chinedu Ufere breaking the deadlock just 14 minutes into the game.
Two minutes later, Eze Ekwutoziam doubled the lead from the penalty spot, putting Enyimba firmly in control.
Lobi Stars, however, fought back, and Waheed Adebayor pulled one back in the 36th minute.
Despite their efforts, the Pride of Benue could not find an equaliser, leaving them to suffer another defeat in the 2024/25 NPFL season.
The win marked Enyimba’s second straight league victory, following their 3-1 success over Heartland on September 8.
With six points from two matches, Enyimba now climb to fourth on the league table, having played one game fewer than most of their competitors.
In other NPFL action, Rangers International secured a hard-fought 1-0 victory over league newcomers Ikorodu City FC in Lagos.
Ugwueze Chinemerem’s headed goal, from a well-delivered Kazeem Ogunleye corner, proved decisive as Rangers returned to Enugu with all three points.
