Anambra Has Experienced Unbroken, Unprecedented Progressiveness In 18 Yrs Under APGA Says Soludo As Victor Oyeh/ Ezeokenwa Dismiss Edozie Njoku

By Okey Maduforo Awka.

Gov Charles Soludo of Anambra has described his party the All Progressives Grand Alliance APGA as one that have made the state to continue to experience an unbroken, unprecedented Progressivism

Soludo who disclosed this at the launching of his party’s maga local government election rally in Awka Capital City noted that the rally is a continuation and consolidation of Progressivism adding that APGA is the first registered progressive party in Nigeria.

He further explained that why the election is being conducted in the month of September is because of the Supreme Court judgement that declared a state of emergency on the conduct of the election.

“Many people did not believe my promise of conducting local government election when I made my inaugural speech because since 1998 Anambra had its first local government election the second one was in 2014 a month to the end of the eight years tenure of Obi’s administration ”

*Now is 2024 and that promise we made is a promise kept and we had earlier promised to conduct the election in the month of December this year that was our original plan but the Supreme Court judgement literally declared a state of emergency by compelling all states that have unelected local government Chairmen and Councillors to do so immediately and that was why we have to bring it forward from December to September 28th this year”he said.

Speaking earlier the former National Chairman of APGA Ozo Victor Oyeh described the what he called the antics of Chief Edozie Njoku as a mere distraction adding that when the time comes the pictures would be clear.

“Sylvester Ezeokenwa is the undisputable National Chairman. of APGA . Don’t mind those people masquerading and when the time comes we shall know between two tortoise which of them is the male tortoise ”

“Let the people fighting against this party surrender and allow Sylvester Ezeokenwa to continue to lead our great party to the path of success and allow Gov Charles Soludo to continue with his revolutionary programs in Anambra state ” he said.

National Chairman of APGA , Bar Sylvester Ezeokenwa noted that those causing confusion in the party are those who wants the allocations of the state to be given to them or shared to them.

“They are angry because we are using Anambra state money to work for the people of Anambra state ”

*There some people that wants each time allocation comes they will be given a share for them to put in their pockets”

“This can never happen as they know that it is not possible for Gov Charles Soludo to do that and they know that they were never elected as National Chairman of our party “he said.

Former member that represented Anambra East and West Federal Constituency Chief Chinedu Obidigwe noted that;

“APGA had come to stay in Anambra state and Anambra is APGA and APGA is Anambra ”

“There is no local government area or Community that has not benefited from the administration of Gov Charles in almost three years of his administration” he noted.
