Anambra Government Cracks Down on Fake Drink Production Syndicate
Anambra State Ministry of health has busted an illegal wine factory which produces all manner of exotic drinks, faking authentic products.
The Ministry, working in collaboration with a state paramilitary Agency, Operation Clean and Healthy Anambra (OCHA BRIGADE) has arrested seven persons at Nkpor, near Onitsha. Premises were sealed off too.
It was reported that officers of OCHA Brigade conducted a raid on the fake manufacturing company that specialised in mass production of fraudulent wines and other exotic beverages. The fake winery is alleged to have unlawfully produced and distributed untold volumes of fake and non-approved wines over the years with reckless abandon.
