3 feared dead, 4 injured as Sienna bus rams into market in Anambra

No fewer than three persons were feared dead,, while four other sustained various degrees of injuries as a Toyota Sienna bus rammed into a mini market at Oyeagu market, Abagana in Njikok2 Loved Government Area of Anambra state.
The incident, according to eye-witnesses, occured on Wednesday when the driver of the bus who was alleged to be overspeeding, lost control of the vehicle and rammed into the market along the Onitsha/Axka Old road.
President-General of Abagana Welfare Union, AWU, Engr. Ben Okongwu who spoke to newsmen on phone, confirmed that three persons were so far confirmed dead, while others were critically injured.
However, there was a conflicting report regarding the number of casualty as an official report from the Anambra Sector Command of the Federal Road Safety Corp, FRSC quoted the casualty rate as only one.
Spokesperson of the FRSC, Anambra State Command, RC Margaret Onabe who confirmed the incident, said it was only one casualty, while four others sustained various degrees of injuries.
