Omenuko

Published in 1933, Omenuko is recognized as the first novel written in the Igbo language. The story follows the life of Igwegbe Odum, a popular Aro Igbo trader and politician who migrated to Arondizuogu and lived between the nineteenth and twentieth centuries.
